Yes! We have a range of veggie and vegan dishes. You can even create your own pizza, using the vegetables that we have on offer. We usually advise taking the marinara pizza and adding toppings.

We’re working on it – we hope to have a plant-based alternative soon.

Unfortunately not. At the moment, we are unable to create the dough without any sort of cross-contamination. However, if you’re planning to come to Berberè with friends we do have lots of gluten free alternatives to pizza.

The 8 slices of pizza are part of the Berberè trademark. We want to make it easier for you to share the pizza, without it getting cold.

Simply put it’s a mixture created from the fermentation of flour and water which has been mixed and left to rest. Pizza which rises slowly over a long period of time gets cooked at a lower temperature so as to have that unique consistency which is slightly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.

We have two special doughs: ‘idrolisi’, which is available everyday and our ‘biodiverso’ which is a mix of flours and seeds and is available during the weekend. Our biodiverse dough is an ‘indirect dough’ or a pre-leavened dough, made with sourdough starter so it contains wheat and gluten, although in smaller quantities compared to a classic dough. These are complicated, artisan products meaning we cannot guarantee their availability at all times, especially as we make everything from scratch in our kitchens everyday.

Depending on their availability on that particular day you can reserve one of our special doughs by calling ahead.

We don’t serve Coca-Cola as we like to be able to offer alternatives to the multinational giants which often erase local traditions, regional produce and entire cultures which express themselves through gastronomy.

Instead, try Molecola! It’s an Italian company which started in Piemonte and which uses Italian ingredients to create its unique flavour. Molecola work closely with Renken, an Italian non-profit focussed on improving education both in Italy and Senegal.

We take bookings at all times of day and everyday of the week but it’s not compulsory and if you don’t have a booking we would be happy to welcome you to any one of our restaurants.

If you do decide to book you can do it via our website, on the phone or when passing by one of our restaurants.Our Tottenham Court Road restaurant is walk-ins only and if we don’t have a table straight away we will take your name and number, so you can go grab a drink while you wait and we will contact you as soon as your table is ready.

We do! You can get pizza delivered to the comfort of your own home on Deliveroo or via our site by clicking ‘order’. Delivery and service will be provided by Deliveroo.
